This part of the website is here to help you find great things to do both nearby and across Scotland.

I’ve focussed especially on golf, history, and whisky — because those are the things most visitors to this area are most interested in. St Andrews is known as the Home of Golf, with a long and famous history, and there are many excellent golf courses in and around the town. I’ve also included information about other famous golf spots across Scotland.

If you’re interested in whisky, you’re in luck — there are several well-known distilleries within a couple of hours’ drive. I’ve also added links to distilleries further afield in case you’re planning a longer trip.

There are also plenty of beautiful and historic villages nearby. I’ve included information about these too, so you can explore and enjoy the area to the fullest.
